I go here all the time and the breakfast potatoes have always been a favorite. Sooooo good! But ordered to go last night and they were different. I knew just by looking at them. They were still good less than a month ago. They were fine - maybe a C+. But guys, they used to be an A. Also there's a lady that works there most of the time and she's awesome.

Corner spot is great. The menu is huge on the wall as you walk in. You order at the counter and pick a seat and they bring your food to you. We had the Mexican chicken salad with diced grilled chicken, avocado, red onion, corn, and a host of other great ingredients. The service is very swift and friendly.

**Squat and Gobble - A Culinary Adventure in Crepes** My visit to Squat and Gobble was a delightful culinary journey, featuring not only their signature Tuscany chicken pesto crepe but also a French onion soup and a steak salad that left a lasting impression. Starting with the French onion soup, it was a warm and comforting bowl of goodness. The broth was rich and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the caramelized onions and topped with a generous amount of melted cheese and a crispy crouton. Each spoonful was a taste of traditional French cuisine done right. Next, the steak salad was a refreshing and satisfying choice. Tender slices of steak were served on a bed of fresh mixed greens, tossed with a light vinaigrette dressing. The salad was topped with cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, and a sprinkle of crumbled blue cheese, adding a delightful tangy and savory contrast to the dish. Of course, the highlight was the Tuscany crepe. The crepe itself was expertly made, thin and crispy, enveloping tender chicken, fresh tomatoes, and a generous spread of flavorful pesto sauce. The combination of ingredients was spot on, with each bite offering a burst of Italian-inspired flavors. The menu at Squat and Gobble offers a diverse selection of crepes and other dishes, catering to both savory and sweet preferences. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal alone or with friends. Service was prompt and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. Despite the restaurant being busy during my visit, the staff managed the flow efficiently. While the seating area can feel a bit cramped during peak times, the quality of the food and the overall dining experience make Squat and Gobble a standout choice for anyone seeking delicious crepes and more. Overall, Squat and Gobble exceeded expectations with its flavorful dishes and friendly service. Whether you're craving crepes, soup, salad, or all of the above, this restaurant is a definite must-visit. Highly recommended!

I've been here many times and usually love it. Today, I went for breakfast and it was just eh. No coffee refill. Chewy pancakes. The savory crepes and potatoes I've had in the past are definitely better. If I was rating this based on today's meal and service, I may have given it a 2.5 or 3 stars, but the food and service in the past has been amazingly wonderful, so I gave a higher rating.

I've ordered takeout from here twice, and it has been delicious both times. Their house potatoes are some of the best I've had, perfectly crispy and flavorful. The first time, I got the croissant sandwich, which was very filling and packed with scrambled egg, ham, and cheese. The egg was a bit overpowering at times, but still enjoyable - I probably just needed a bigger appetite. The next time, I tried the fried chicken sandwich, and it was so good that I'll definitely be back for it. The chicken had the perfect crisp, and the sandwich was flavorful with the chipotle aioli and coleslaw-style sauce. It was also a huge portion - each half was almost the size of a fried chicken sandwich from a place like Chick-fil-A. I was excited to sub the fries for house potatoes, which were just as delicious as the first time. My only complaint is that it's on the pricey side; each dish was about $20. However, this is in line with SF prices, and the portions are huge, so you get what you pay for - each order has been enough for two meals. Their online ordering is seamless, though the default ready time is 40 minutes, which feels a bit long to me.
